Through the practice of t'ai chi, people find themselves living more vital and fulfilling lives. T'ai chi is the soft martial art that will change the way that your approach any situation. At the Spiral Chi Center, people learn how to move differently through the study of t’ai chi ch’uan. Come join us and learn how to relax in any situation, improve coordination and balance, lessen stress, and increase energy flow. Free classes are offered to recently returning soldiers. Find out when our next session begins.
The first principle in our t'ai chi practice is to relax. Relaxation is actually the key to coordination. Tension is the friction that slows down integrated movement throughout the body.
By relaxing, we can actually
move more quickly and heighten our awareness. It is in the silence that
relaxation brings that we can hear. As we develop this ability to
relax, we are
able to become more aware or our movement, our tensions, and
even our energy.
